Album Review
This short fiery CD of the incomparable Little Richard's greatest hits also works as an audio blaster for excessive wax in your ear canals. The outrageous one's vocal approach is similar to a young Mike Tyson building a 20-0 record against tomato cans, as ferocious as lions feeding on a kill, and about as subtle as a bull rampaging through a china shop. From "Tutti-Frutti" to "Rip It Up," Little Richard explodes through these ten bawdy (but cleaned up) rock & roll classics as if every word he sings will be his last, never catching a breath — or giving you a chance to catch yours.

Have to disagree with those here
by Arcane ShadowsI find the music quality in 20 Greatest Hits to be better than those of Specialty. I can understand purists that want to go with Specialty but I would listen to both and decide as I did.
FANTASTIC
by Need2danceSome poeple say,"oh this isn't rock and roll!" this was rock and roll at that time! overy the years rock and roll has evolved. The re-recorded songs are great! He recorded these at his prime! He made an impression on rock and roll leaving behind great music and soul. Those of you giving it one star, you are not seeing the passion and soul behind all these songs. (PS: "Keep a Knockin" was also a live performance on the hit tv show "full house".) Those of you with an ear for music and need to dance, this album is fantastic.

by ParttyboyThis guys up there with Chuck Berry, he has an AWESOME voice. Chuck Berry was the first real guitarist and Little Richard gave rock n' roll its voice. My favorite song is Long Tall Sally
