wow!!! i had this album on cassette when i was three, and i LOVED it!! i remembered them just recently in a tex-mex restaurant when my order came with a side of pico de gallo. the funny thing is that even after all these years, i still remember the lyrics to most of the songs!! this is definately a fun album that kids of all ages can appreciate.

Ah, memories...

I agree with that "i ate the pencil" guy (love the name by the way). I'm 15 but still remember these songs from back when I was a kid. This is probably the only kid's CD I could listen to today and not hate. Great for little kids: funny and appropriate and catchy, and not annoying to adults. (My parents liked this CD even more than I did when I was a kid.) Just a side note though: Pico De Gallo gets stuck in your head really easily, and then you can't get it out for hours. Ha, I loved The Cat Came Back...funny stuff...

While I enjoyed it...

I think their live album has a lot more of the rambunctious energy that I love. In my opinion, these songs are a bit more formulaic, more "children's music" sounding. I think this a great band, but I would recommend My Best Day if you want to hear what makes them so special.
