Album Review
Shivaree's debut album, I Oughtta Give You a Shot in the Head..., is firmly in the mainstream of alternative rock in the late '90s, fitting in nicely with adult alternative radio formats as well as straight-up alternative. The best of the songs are memorable, well-constructed, and performed with commitment; not everything here is a keeper, but overall, the album seems to signify that the band will develop and progress with its next release.

A very interesting and unique artist.
by Mad HattttterI found Shivaree by, of course, the song Goodnight Moon, which is a wonderful song. This whole CD is filled with amazing songs. Her voice is very different from any artist Ive heard. Her style is very unique and distinctive. I believe that she is an artist that finds joy in being creative and doing what she feels is good music.
I believe this CD is a great edition to any library.
