Album Review
First released in Finland in a slightly different form, Loituma's Things of Beauty is the initial release from this Finnish quartet. Their specialty is the kantele, a Finnish harp, and they use this both in instrumental pieces and in multi-layered vocal arrangements. The music ranges from the lively interpretations of Finnish folk music to haunting pieces about mysterious marsh land. A light, sweet album that well deserves the attention NorthSide is providing.

by astro_righteousthere is an 8-bit remix of ievan polka on 8bitcollective.com just do a simple search on it. there is an 8-bit remake and even another remake of that one. both are exceptional and more technoficatelizationified. if you can believe it. just listen its even more incessant than the original.

by Shadow Puppet Supremeoh yeash my friend showed me the basshunter remix of the Leva's Polka ((where is that song, iTunes? huh??)) on YouTube ((ya know the one. with whats her face from Bleach spinning a leek; if you havent heard it you should look into it)) and i loved it. we're into dance music and im like 'wow this is an awesome beat. but whats the original song sound like?' so i went to me source of online musica and found the original. listened to it, got it. then i saw that iTunes had the whole album ((oh ho iTunes you just got PWND)) and its like 'wow i need to learn this language or find a translation i wanna know what they're saying!' anyway its a good album. ((so's the basshunter remix...*hint hint* to you iTunes...))
