iTunes Review

The obvious question to ask about A Time to Love, Stevie Wonder’s first studio album in 10 years, is whether it’s worth the wait. The short answer (and one that’s likely to hold true over the long haul) is: yes. While not a groundbreaking piece like Innervisions or a masterful summation in the vein of Songs in the Key of Life, this endlessly tweaked set demonstrates the continued verve and craftsmanship of one of America’s most rightfully celebrated artists. Much of what he does well is on display here, and at least one of the ballads (perhaps “How Will I Know,” a searching duet with daughter Aisha, or the jazzy “Moon Blue”) is likely to become an enduring standard. Finally, his committed, often gleeful vocals are a reminder that there’s no one quite like Stevie. It’s good to have him back.

great album....to much like hip hop tho

stevie wonders newest album is great. its a little too light on upbeat soungs for me but w/e hes cool. the problem for me is that stevie is drifting towards todays crappy definition of r+b. where people think of usher as r+b. stevie wonder rapping? how is that rythym and blues? weird.....and his music is stripped down to almost hip hop in some places....it doenst have his old soulful, rythym and blues fullness it used too. still a great album. i like please odnt hurt my baby, positivity, and so what the fuss

The Balladeer is back!

Buying a stevie wonder, album was mostly because of the up-tempo hits the radio stations would play, but the soulful ballads were my most listened too songs! Sweet melodic chords, words done as only stevie could do. I glad to get a album of love songs.

Authentic Stevie!!!!

This album has everything. Some of the songs have a strong, funky beat. The others can be slow and mellow. But every single song on the album has one thing in common: Authentic Stevie Wonder.
This album is perfect for just listening to at the gym, or in the car, or anywhere for that matter. I am a huge Stevie Wonder fan, and if you are too, then you shouldn't be without this album. It is perfect!! My favorite songs on the album are So What the Fuss, A Time to Love, From the Bottom of My Heart and Sweetest Somebody I Know.
All the tracks are genuine, and inspiring. Please don't hesitate to buy!!
