A Must Have

by DJ Mr. Grant

I saw them live at the Rickshaw Stop in San Fran, bought the CD that night.
The production has that classic warm sound. I absolutely love Framer Framed.
Give this a listen!

Amazing, nonconformist rock

by miniwiggler

The Ebb & Flow are a breath of fresh air for those looking for some nonconformist music. It is so nice to see a band with a diverse make-up both as individuals and musically. Time to Echolocate will appeal to folks who dig music by bands as diverse as Beth Orton, Neil Young, Stereolab, and the Grateful Dead. This album was my favoriate of 2005!

Great Original indie Rock!!!!

by Wilmington29

Some people will not get this album, or be confused by it, but for those who want more from their music than cheap predictable stuff, will find in this a gem. Songs have unpredictable structure , many melodies working with and against each other, and the lyrics are decent, those that are clear (not all are)
It's not OK Computer but it shows great promise in the future of indie rock!
As for the sense of humor... just look up the Ebb and Flow's website...

Biography

Genre: Rock

Years Active: '00s

Experimental pop/rock trio the Ebb and Flow draw liberally from the guitar-heavy crush of '70s progressive rock, the cerebral spaciousness of Krautrock, and the melodic synth pop of the early '80s to craft a rock & roll hybrid that is as forward-thinking as it is reverent of its colorful antecedents....
