Don't leave home without it
There's enough to worry about when you're traveling without having to keep track of every last detail on your itinerary. TripIt's app does that work for you, and it's FREE.
For example, I was recently flying Virgin America for the first time, and they asked me at check-in for my loyalty #. I had no idea where to even look, but thought it might be embedded in my TripIt itinerary. I checked, and it popped up immediately.
If you're a frequent flyer, it's a must, but even if you only rarely travel you'll appreciate a FREE app that effortlessly gathers all your important info.
Ads- Really disappointing
This was one of my most used apps. Unfortunately, with the addition of the ads, they have sold out and not even permitted an immediate option to purchase a non-ad version. The program itself is five stars easy! Love it. But, you can't pick parts of the program you like and ignore the horrific parts. Unfortunately, the ads are so distracting and cumbersome with screen space that it makes the app nearly unuseable. I have no problem paying for this app. I hate when a company allows for immediate additions of ads, without any alternative to get rid of them. I recognize the need for funding. Nobody works for free. But don't make those of us willing to purchase a non-ad version suffer because you failed to launch TripIt Pro at the same time. Now I am forced to call all the people I recommended this to and apologize. Christ.

Great app. Good companion to TripIt website. Must use in tandem with the website though; this app is more of a data repeater to reflect what's online in your tripit account. So take the few minutes to set that set up and your flight info will always be handy on your phone. Many complaints clearly come from people that have not taken the time to get their account set up and itineraries listed. I use this app every time I fly and think it's fantastic. Also stores hotel and restaurant reservations, very cool.
I do wish it was possible to set the check-in reminder duration to more or less than the exactly 24 hours they give you now.
