Addictive and Fun
Excellent music creation application, the developers are definitely onto something amazing.
A couple suggestions for later versions:
1) When dragging your finger across the screen, the grid will either choose to flip all on or off, depending on the status of the first square you touched. Having the grid simply flip each square based on its status would be awesome.
2) While being able to save a grid in its current state is great, for me the magic is the progress of getting to that grid, and the melody I create as I tap, so being able to record an entire session would bring this from a fun time killer to a real music creation tool.

Holy Genius Award!!
It's 3:30AM, and I'm still wide awake all because of this oh-so-brillant app. I've NEVER gotten so deeply involved with anything on my iPhone before. As close to time travel as I'll ever get I suppose, I simply lost 4 hours, and didn't notice one tiny bit. That's just scary.
I have around 500 apps, tried them all, gave them each a fighting chance. Until tonight, Fieldrunners held the #1slot. It has been one out of a select handful that put me in the "zone" consistantly--every time I played it. However, I have just discovered an unused section of my brain with this Melodica and the rest have been de-throned! I can't describe how it feels to use this app, I'm just not that good with words.
But I will say this:
THIS APP HAS CHANGED EVERYTHING!!!!!
Now, I can sleep.
Great app. Still needs a few things but worth a buck
This is a great find but a few changes I would request are 1. a bpm numerical display for matching with other hardware 2. More sound control like a pitch slider or effects rather than preset "moods". Otherwise great job!
