About the Author –
Don Miguel Ruiz was born into a family of healers, and raised in rural Mexico by a curandera (healer) mother and a nagual (shaman) grandfather. The family anticipated that Miguel would embrace their centuries-old legacy of healing and teaching, and carry forward the esoteric Toltec knowledge. Instead, distracted by modern life, Miguel chose to attend medical school and become a surgeon. A near-death experience changed his life. Stunned by this experience, he began an intensive practice of self-inquiry. He devoted himself to the mastery of the ancient ancestral wisdom, studying earnestly with his mother, and completing an apprenticeship with a powerful shaman in the Mexican desert. In the tradition of the Toltecs, a nagual guides an individual to personal freedom. Don Miguel is a nagual from the Eagle Knight lineage, and is dedicated to sharing his knowledge of the teachings of the ancient Toltecs. Wonderful Cards
I've read the Four Agreements and enjoyed them and have tried to incorporate them into my life. One day when I was in a book store they had a box of cards for sale from the Four Agreements that I bought. Then about a week later, I don't remember how I stumbled on it, I found this app in the app store and thought it would be perfect to carry it around with me on my iPhone. It would make it that much easier to practice the Four Agreements if I have them on me. The other thing I want to mention is I asked them for an enhancement to the application. If I exited the application I wanted to be able to accesses the same card when I went back into the program. Voila, they listened and incorperated that feature. This product is worth much more than the price they charge.
I love The Four Agreements
I love The Four Agreements so much-when I saw this app, even though I would normally wait to spend 3.99 on an app with more reviews, I had to take a chance... So far, it appears beautifully made and easy to use... Haven't seen if there is an option to view each agreement in one spot (as opposed to divided amongst 48 cards) but if there isn't, maybe that can be added in an update...

I'm surprised at how much I enjoy these. It's nice to take a little break from work, people & stress to view them. They remind you to let go of negative feelings so you can get back to your tasks and be productive. The artwork is interesting & I like to shuffle the cards but if I wanted to choose a specific agreement to read, it would be helpful to add a list to choose from.
